Adult Ministries

City Church offers a variety of ministries for adults of all ages. See below for a brief description of some of our adult ministers.

Men's Ministry

Men’s Ministry exists to create a community of men who love God, love one another, and love serving the community. The men come together monthly to develop friendship and community, and to discover new opportunities for serving the church and community, such as ministry to children, support for hurting families, and various service projects. Men aged 18 and up are welcome to join the group’s monthly fellowship meetings on the third Saturday of each month.

Freedom From the chains

Freedom from the Chains is a support group designed to assist PEOPLE challenged with physical, emotional, and spiritual battles. The group focuses on weight loss, personal fitness, pursuing a relationship with Christ, and discovering your true self as their primary areas of support. The group meets Mondays at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. 

Women’s Ministry

The women come together on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm. The gather for a meal, discuss service projects, worship, and fellowship together, and look for ways to minister to the church body, and the community. Women aged 18 and up are encouraged to join the group. Special projects include projects for benevolence ministry, giving gifts that inspire spiritual growth and encouragement in women, and other demonstrations of Christian love. The group focuses on strengthening and supporting the spiritual journey of women.
